  • What is Edukonnect?

    Edukonnect is a Customer Resource Management (CRM) program. It is unlike any other program available in the market. It uses a web and mobile interface.


    How is Edukonnect different from any existing CRM?

    Schools often need to invest a huge amount to create a CRM. They may require to employ or outsource their requirement to an IT team. Edukonnect is a readymade solution which schools can customize and use it to meet their requirements.


    What are the benefits of Edukonnect?

    Conventionally most CRMs deliver either through SMSes or Emails. These may or may not reach the end user for example a sms may time out or expire while an email may end up in the junk or spam mail. Edukonnect delivers through a mobile application which ensures 100% delivery. Edukonnect does not require the school to have any experts for using this system and can be operated easily and effortlessly by all.


    What do I need to do to register?

    Go to www.edukonnect.net.in and register your school. The school logo that you upload gets displayed in the mobile application while the information you feed in the About Us gets displayed in that section in the Mobile App. Similarly the Address, Tel No. and Email id gets displayed in the Contact Us section of the Mobile App.


    What do I do once I register our school?

    Team from Edupsyche will call you to confirm and verify your school credentials. Once the same is authenticated you will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered number after which you will be able to successfully Log in as the school admin.


    Do the schools need to pay any charges for using the application?

    Schools need not pay any charges. Parents would be required to pay an annual fee of Rs. 120/- per child. There are 2 payment options.
    Option 1: Schools can collect payment and send a cheque in favor of Edupsyche Educational Services Pvt Ltd payable at Mumbai
    Option 2: Parents after downloading the mobile application and while registering their child will require to pay Rs. 120/- online.


    What next after registering the school?

    Once you successfully log in you will be able to do the following:
    Create standards/grades
    Create divisions/sections
    Upload teacher information
    Upload student information
    Create notices and alerts for teachers and students
    Create events and upload the same
    Create photo galleries
    Upload results


    How do I upload Teacher list and what happens next?

    You could feed information for individual teachers or download our excel sheet and feed in information there and upload the same. Once you upload this, teachers will receive an email on their registered mail id and OTP on their registered mobile number. Teachers can subsequently Log in and be able to send notices, alerts, results and events.


    What if I am unable to upload teacher information?

    This may happen because the email id is incorrect. In that case you can feed in teacher information separately by clicking create teacher. If the difficulty persists then kindly call 8080007056 Ext 9 between 10.30 am to 6.00 pm.


    How do I upload student list and what happens next?

    You could feed information for individual students or download our excel sheet and feed in information there and upload the same. Once you upload this the parents of the students will receive email on their registered mail id. Parents can subsequently download the Edukonnect application from google playstore, windows store and iTunes.


    Is the information I share secure?

    Edupsyche is bound by the terms of use and maintaining privacy of all information shared with us.


    Can schools opt in or opt out of different mobile menu in between an academic year?

    Yes, schools have the option of adding or deleting menus at any point of time. They would be required to go Edit Profile and click on Mobile Menu tab and select the menu they wish to add or remove.


    What would happen if teacher leaves school in between?

    The school will go to the teacher?s list and delete his/her information.


    What would happen if child leaves school in between?

    [ + ]


    The school will delete the child?s name from students list. The parents will no longer be able to get any school information. But since the parents have paid money for one year they would be redirected to the Edupsyche parenting application and avail of services for a year.


    What to do when Academic year changes?

    Schools will have option to change the academic year.
    Option 1: All children will move to the next grade and same division. Schools can edit information of children and change it to other standard/divisions if required.
    Option 2: If schools shuffle children every year they can delete all information and re upload new information.

    How do I know whether my parents downloaded app or not?

    In the view report section you will receive list of parents who have registered and those who have not registered as yet.


    How do I know if my parents have received information for sure?

    For all the users who have not viewed or viewed the message reports will be available.


    What happens to the information that I send to the parents?

    Parents will not be able to delete any information i.e. Notices, Events, Results. Only once the school changes the academic year or the information for the prior year gets deleted. Events will be deleted after the event is completed.


  • Can those parents who do not have an online account pay separately?

    No either schools collects payment for all or pays cheque in favor of Edupsyche Educational Services Pvt Ltd payable at Mumbai or all parents pay online.


    Can both parents access information for the child?

    Yes. Both parents will need to download the Edukonnect app and log in using the same user id and password. They would not be required to pay twice.


    How do the parents register?

    Once the application is downloaded parents will need to fill in the child?s school id, GR. No. and Date of Birth. It will automatically register the child. Once registered, it will ask the parents to pay Rs.120/- online. Once completed parents will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number the parents will need to put the OTP and can start using the app subsequently. On registration parents will receive an email on the registered mail id with all the log in credentials.


    What would happen if the parent loses the existing mobile?

    Parents will be required to download the application again from google playstore/ windows playstore/ iTunes. Put in log in information and start using the application at no extra cost.


    What is the parent has more than one child in the same school?

    Parents will need to go to the Add child option. Register and pay separately for each child.


    What if parents have children in separate schools?

    [ + ]


    Parents will be required to go to add child option and fill in child?s school id number, GR number and Date of Birth of every child, register and pay separately for each child.


    What if parents change their mobile number?

    Parents will be required to download the application again from google playstore/ windows playstore/ iTunes. Put in log in information and start using the application at no extra cost. In the Edit information will require to put the new mobile number.


    Can this application be used for all phones?

    Phones with google play store/ windows play store and iTunes can only use this application.


    Does the application use a lot of internet?

    [ + ]


    No. The application uses minimal internet.


    What happens to those parents who do not have internet on their phones?

    [ + ]


    For the first 30 days Edukonnect will ensure that they receive information via sms. During that period parents can shift to phones that are compatible with the program.
